FORMATION PROGRAM
ASPIRANCY – (6 mos. – 1 year)
POSTULANCY – (1 year)
The postulancy is the period of the candidate’s first contact with the religious life. It aims to make possible the verification of the necessary attitudes and disposition to go through the novitiate with increasing commitment and responsibility.
NOVITIATE – (2 years)
During this period, the Novice is led to a more profound understanding of her particular call to holiness, initiated in the daily living of the religious life. She must give priority to the spiritual life so that her choice of becoming a Religious Sister may be made with full awareness and responsibility.
JUNIORATE – (5 years)
The Junior Religious Sister, after professing the vows of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience and embracing the rules of the Congregation at the end of her Novitiate, renews her temporary vows annually. She responds with fervor and enthusiasm to whatever the Lord, the Church, and the Congregation expect of her to further spiritual, doctrinal and apostolic formation.
PERPETUAL VOWSThis offering is a responsible, free, perpetual gift of the person’s life to God. The sister lives the Evangelical counsels according to the Pauline spirit of St. Anthony M. Zaccaria, our founder.
ONGOING FORMATION
Accepting the holy founder’s exhortation, the professed religious sister lives her total consecration to Christ with persevering fidelity and increasing love.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
* A baptized and practicing catholic
* A desire to grow in constant love for God
* The ability to live in a community and to serve in the community’s forms of apostolate
* Submission of Certificates: Birth, Baptism, Confirmation, Medical, and recommendation letter from the Parish Priest
* Age: 18-30
